In April, while I was hanging out at my mom's house, I saw some silhouettes and traditional heirloom-style portraits she had done of my brother and me when we were kids. It made me think about how I didn't have a silhouette or any portraits of my son, Miller, so I decided to take some! I made the images simple, using black and white backgrounds and plain black and white shirts to minimize distractions and focus on his face. I was so excited about how the pictures turned out that I decided I wanted to offer them to everyone! There was a wonderful reaction to these images and this idea, and many mamas expressed interest in booking a session for their children.
Later that month, I held Tiffany Bradley Photography's first-ever Children's Heirloom Portrait Mini Sessions and the results were fantastic. During the sessions, we talked about Pokemon, sang songs, made fart noises, made "mom's angry face," made silly faces, and more. The giggles I heard and the precious faces we captured filled my heart with such joy, and it was truly an honor to create images of these sweet kiddos that their family will cherish for a lifetime.
