This week I launched my 2022 Fall Mini Sessions locations and details, and while I was getting everything ready, I started looking back through some of last year's fall sessions. I didn't have my blog up in time to do a proper post for this session last year and figured now was a great time to share since we are starting to move into the fall season. This special family features one of my sweet friends, Jeannie. Jeannie and I have been friends since I was in college...almost 18 years ago (wow, that's crazy!) Jeannie and Steven's wedding was the very first wedding I ever photographed. After photographing their wedding, I went on to photograph maternity sessions for both of Jeannie's pregnancies, her kids as newborns, baby milestones, yearly pictures for Father's Day for Steven, and yearly family pictures. Although I've been photographing them for years, this session from last fall is hands down one of my favorites.
For this session, we went to the beautiful Our Country House. It is a wedding and event venue in Ellabell, Georgia, a short drive from of I-16. Being located close to the interstate makes it a prime location for anyone in Savannah, Statesboro, and surrounding areas looking for somewhere to hold a wedding or event. The grounds feature an old farmhouse, barn, pond, plenty of outdoor space, oak trees, and more. I am so glad we decided to head out to this location, and am thankful to the owners of Our Country House for allowing me to hold some fall mini sessions at their beautiful location.
